Wrote 'Juditha Triumphans (1716),' 'The Four Seasons (1725),' 'Gloria (1725)' and hundreds of concertos for various instruments
Known as 'the Red Priest'

Why he might be annoying:

He had a bad temper.
He was a cheapskate.
He was considered a mediocre composer in his day.
His concertos are rather formula.
Despite being a Catholic priest, he had a secret sexual relationship with one of his female students.
He pretended to have a chronic illness so he wouldn't have to officiate Mass anymore.
His 'Four Seasons' concertos have been overused in commercials and movies.

Why he might not be annoying:

He grew up poor.
He was a fantastic violinist.
His family forced him to take up the priesthood, as it was the only way he could get a free education.
Johann Sebastian Bach ripped off many of his tunes, then burned the manuscripts so nobody would find out.
His prospect for a lucrative position in Emperor Charles VI's court disappeared when the Emperor ate a poisonous mushroom and died.
He and his secret lover had a happy relationship for many years.
His music imitates dogs barking, water dripping, birds singing, thunder, and many other natural sounds.
