    Played for the Kansas City-Omaha Kings (1973-76) and San Antonio Spurs (1977-78)
    Head coach of the Denver Nuggets (1998–99), Phoenix Suns (2003-08), New York Knicks (2008-12) and the Los Angeles Lakers
    NBA Coach of the Year (2005)

    His NBA career lasted a season and a half.
