Why he might be annoying:

His nickname, 'Chespirito' is suppose to mean 'Little Shakespeare' which in Spanish is 'Shakespearito.'
On 'El Chavo,' he played a young child at the time he was in his 40's.
The names of all the characters he plays start with 'Ch.'
He majored in architecture, but went into show-biz instead.
He and his wife visited several small towns in Mexico, the people complained that they acted like a 'divo' and a 'diva.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He was an amateur boxer.
El Chapulin Colorodo was the inspiration for the Bumblebee Man on 'the Simpsons.'
His shows are still really popular with families in The Americas and Spain.
He is multi-talented and won acclaim as a writer, artist, and actor in Mexico.
He and his son have been in talks with Disney and Hanna-Barbara to make a cartoon based on his shows.
