    They were outscored 17-5 in both games of their Stanley Cup challenge series.
    They were unfairly unmatched to the Montreal Wanderers, who were compromised of both pros and amateurs.
    They changed their name to the Black Foxes for the last year and a half of their existence.
    They ceased operations midway through the 1915 season.

Why New Glasgow Cubs might not be annoying:

    They were the second team from Nova Scotia to challenge for the Stanley Cup.
    They competed in the first Stanley Cup challenge series,, in which professionals were allowed to compete.
    They were one of the charter members of the Maritme Professional Hockey League.
    They were inducted into the Nova Scotia Sports Hall of Fame.
