    Attended Michigan State University
    Head coach for the Montreal Canadiens (1985-1988) and the Quebec Nordiques (1988-1989)

Why he might be annoying:

    He had a losing record of 16-25-5 in his final NHL coaching season.
    The Canadiens fired him after the team's loss in the second round of the NHL playoffs.
    He often used bad grammar as he poorly used proverbs and idioms.
    He lost a lawsuit against the publishers of a book collecting his verbal slip-ups.

    He has a degree in physical education.
    He used young players such as Patrick Roy, Stephane Richer and Claude Lemieux to win the 1986 Stanley Cup for the Canadiens.
    Until 2009, he was the last Stanley Cup winning rookie head coach.

    He took up a job as a hockey analyst following his coaching career.
