It may provide a safe haven to fleeing Kosovo refugees.
People enjoy rafting on Tara river, Europe's deepest canyon.
It provides a vast amount of natural beauty which lures tourists.
Strengthening of its statehood resulted from resistance of Turkish attacks.
The people are tolerant of all religions.
Courage and bravery are traditionally the two most moral values.
It became one of six republics of the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
