Although appearing in many quality films, he's also appeared in quite a few bad Hollywood ones.
He enjoys acting in musicals.
He said: 'Usually the first thing I try to figure out with a character is his shoes, since that's the way he's connected to the earth. Shoes can dictate your feelings.' (What if you don't like shoes and refuse to wear them, John?)
While filming at Yankee Stadium for 'For Love of the Game,' the people in attendance booed him and told him that the movies he'd been in sucked.
