Why he might be annoying:

    When he took the Pepsi Challenge, he picked Coke over Pepsi.
    His first two marriages broke up over his workaholism.
    His second wife sued him for allegedly concealing $25 million in assets during their divorce proceedings (2015).
    He tried to keep Apple’s famed ‘1984’ ad from airing.
    His personal friendship with Apple’s Steve Jobs never recovered from the corporate clash that resulted in Jobs’ departure.
    He was let go from Apple after the failure of his pet project, the Newton.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His Pepsi Challenge campaign produced the first real threat to Coca-Cola’s dominance of the soft drink market.
    Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak credited him for the initial success of the Macintosh.
    During his time as CEO, Apple sales grew from $980 million to $7.9 billion.
    He coined the term PDA (personal digital assistant).
