    Assistant coach for the men's ice hockey teams at the University of Maine (1998-99) and Harvard (1999-2003)
    Head coach of the men's ice hockey teams at Union College (2003-11) and Providence College

Why he might be annoying:

    He has a big nose.
    He didn't begin playing ice hockey until he was a teenager.
    He turned down the head coaching job at Harvard.
    He came under fire from Canadian hockey fans for bringing out a rubber container with the Hockey Canada logo on the ice, following the American team's victory in the World Juniors Gold Medal game (2021).

    He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from SUNY Cortland.
    He was credited with bringing credibility to the Union College hockey team.
    He successfully reestablished the Providence College hockey team from a doormat to a perennial contender.
    He guided the U.S. National Team to its fourth World Juniors Gold Medal since 2004.
    He clarified the barrel incident at the 2021 World Juniors, citing it was used as a motivational tool and not to throw shade at the Canadian program.
