Why he might be annoying:

    He became a journeyman player after he was traded from the Canadiens.
    In the earlier stages of his career, he frequently earned an average of 200-260 penalty minutes a season.
    He played on three different teams during the 2000 and 2003 calendar years.
    His tenure with the Stars lasted a mere three games.
    He allegedly made deragatory statements toward Matthew Barnaby's wife, which in turn led to acrimony between the two players.
    He earned the unflattering nickname 'Cornelius' from Barnaby, referring to the 'Planet of the Apes' character, which soon caught on among Odelein's detractors.
