Why she might be annoying:

As Broadway's original 'Annie,' she'll forever be associated with the song 'Tomorrow.'
Even as a child, she sang with the brassy forcefulness of a woman.
She starred in the pilot for a 'Welcome Back, Kotter' spin-off called 'Horseshack.'
She toured with Liberace (1979).
Her daughter, Alexis Kalehoff, already has appeared on Broadway.

Why she might not be annoying:

She was the youngest performer to be nominated for a Tony in a starring role.
She never had any of the major problems that befall many child stars.
She stole the show from Carol Channing when they toured in 'Jerry's Girls' (1984). Surprisingly, she grew up to be quite a looker.
