Why he might be annoying:

    His explanation for why his modeling career started at age four, while his sister’s started at two: ‘I must have been an ugly baby.’
    He said of his spending habits, ‘The stupider the better: a fur sink , battery-operated socks, things like that.’
    His post-‘Alice’ acting credits were hardly A-list.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was cast in ‘Alice’ after Linda Lavin saw him perform on Broadway in ‘Medea and Jason.’
    The final episode of ‘Alice’ used one of his suggestions: editing together clips of him saying ‘Hi, mom’ as his voice changed from high-pitched to deep.
    He also grew from 4’11 to 6’3 during Alice’s run.
    He went into radio, co-hosting a morning show in Texas.
