She wears very long wigs in outrageous colors and styles.
She changed her stage name from 'Remy Martin' to avoid conflict with the alcohol brand.
She sports a lot of bling and furs in videos.
In a September 2005 interview with King Magazine, she admitted horny male groupies were made to 'lick the carpet.'
Because she stands 5'9, she refuses to date men under 6'0 tall.

Why she might not be annoying:

After several relatives fell into drug addiction she was left to care for younger siblings.
Poetry about her unhappy home life became the basis for many of her raps.
She faced bullying in school for earning good grades.
Deceased rapper Big Pun assisted her in getting into the music business.
Despite the glamorous video image, her lyrics confront issues such as abortion, unplanned pregnancy, friendships and female empowerment.
