The Resume

Why Sydney Millionaires might be annoying:

They are remembered for losing the 1913 Stanley Cup challenge series.
They were outscored 20-5 in both games combined.
They complained about the Bulldogs, saying their style was too rough for them.
Despite posting the best record in the MPHL the following season, they opted not to challenge the Toronto Blueshirts for the Stanley Cup (1914).
They technically didn't fold, as they were contracted when the MPHL ceased operations.

Why Sydney Millionaires might not be annoying:

They were the easternmost (prior to Newfoundland and Labrador entering the Canadian confederation) team to challenge for the Stanley Cup.
They are the only team from Cape Breton Island ever to compete for the Stanley Cup.
One of their players, Ken Randall went on to play in the NHL in the years following the franchise's disestablishment.
The Millionaires nickname would later go on to be reused by various teams in the Sydney area in the later years.
They hold the distinction of being the last team based in Atlantic Canada to challenge for the Stanley Cup.
