His actual name is Hubert.
He had a clause in his contract with the Dodgers that prevented him from getting traded back to the Expos or to an American League team, except for the Angels.
His fielding skills were poor, which were in contrast to his hitting ones.
He never played in a post-season game during his career.
He struggled to stay healthy towards the end of his career.

He is the cousin of the late Angels pitcher Donnie Moore.
He set a then-Mets franchise record when he recorded a 24 game hitting streak (1980).
