    Born in Patillas, Puerto Rico
    Shortstop/2nd baseman
    Played for the Cuban Stars of the Negro Leagues (1928-29)
    Also played in the Venezuelan, Dominican and Puerto Rican baseball leagues (1930-48)
    Inducted into the Puerto Rican Baseball Hall of Fame (1992) and Puerto Rican Sports Hall of Fame (2004)
    Believed to have been the oldest professional baseball player and last surviving Negro League player

Why he might be annoying:

    He turned down a college scholarship to play in the Negro Leagues.
    He was often listed in box scores by just his nickname, 'Millito.'
    He was suspended by the Cuban Stars for part of the 1929 season after failing to report to the club when scheduled.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was named the 'Ideal Professional Baseball Player' by Puerto Rican sportswriter Emilio Huike (1938).
    After his playing days, he was a high school phys ed teacher and coach.
    He was honored by the New York Yankees during the final home game at the old Yankee Stadium (2008).
    At age 104, he worked 30-hour weeks at a gaming machine distributor he founded and was named 'Outstanding Older Male Worker' by Experience Works.
    He said he had no secret to a long life, but enjoyed dancing and an occasional glass of whiskey.
