Also known for his 63 comedy film shorts as Joe McDoakes in the 'Behind the Eight Ball' series (1942-56)

Why he might be annoying:

His show biz career started at age 16 with his own stage show, but a fight over wages caused his dismissal after a few short weeks.
He went uncredited in an incredible 30 movies, including his first seventeen.
Most folks know him only as the voice of George 'Jane! Stop this crazy thing!' Jetson.
He was hired to be the voice of Fred for 'The Flintstones' in 1960, but a sponsor didn't like his voice and he was replaced by Alan Reed.

Why he might not be annoying:

His cousin was Virginia O'Hanlon of 'Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus' fame.
He is a veteran of over 150 movies and TV shows.
His son is also an actor and appeared in such TV series as 'Star Trek: The Next Generation,' 'Baywatch' and 'Lost.'
After a stroke left him nearly blind and partially paralyzed, he bravely finished 'Jetsons: The Movie' by having someone read him his lines for him to repeat.
The movie was dedicated to him and fellow voice actor Mel Blanc, who was also in the movie and died just a few months after him.
He has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
