Why he might be annoying:

His longest stay with a team was two seasons.
He is remembered for being one of the players acquired by Milwaukee in the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar trade.
He said he got involved in basketball through intimidation as his high school principal threatened to expel him if he didn't join the team.
He initially planned to attend Willey College, but opted to transfer, once he was told he wouldn't get guaranteed playing time.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a member of two NAIA championship teams at Kentucky State University (1970-71).
He led the NBA in blocks during the first year it became an official stastic.
He set an NBA record for most blocks recorded in a single game (17 in 1973).
His strength for shot blocking earned him the nickname 'Elmore the Rejector.'
