Why Montreal Victorias might be annoying:

They ceased operations after 65 years of fielding amateur teams.
They were one of six separate teams from the Montreal area to compete for the Stanley Cup.
Despite their dominance in the Stanley Cup's early history, most hockey pundits prefer to ignore it.
They resigned their membership in the AHCA, after objecting to a proposal that allowed the Ottawa Capitals join the league.
Their 1896 Stanley Cup challenge matches were both against the similarly named Winnipeg Victorias hockey team.

Why Montreal Victorias might not be annoying:

They are the first team to win five consecutive Stanley Cup championships.
They were named the Victorias after the Victoria Skating Club, in which they were based out of.
They are credited with creating the modern day hockey puck, which was done after rounding off the edges from a square one.
They participated in the first amateur hockey match at the Montreal Forum (1924).
They are the first North American amateur club team to tour in Europe.
