Hockey Player

The Resume

Why he might be annoying:

He spells his first name Kevyn, rather then the conventional way of Kevin.
He is balding, which makes him appear older then he actually is.
His career high for goals scored in a season was 15.
He was hired as the Sabres general manager, despite the fact he had no experience working in an NHL front office.
It was widely speculated he landed the job, largely in part to a close friendship he had with Terry & Kim Pegula.
He had to deal with the likes of Jack Eichel, Taylor Hall, Rasmus Ristolainen and Sam Reinhart become malcontents and eventually sulk their way off the team with trade requests.
He oversaw the Sabres tie an NHL futility record, as they lost 18 consecutive games.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the second player in NHL history, after Bill Nyrop to be born in Washington, D.C..
He excelled as a defensive forward, and was considered a solid bottom six forward by hockey pundits.
He was a member of the inaugural Columbus Blue Jackets roster.
He earned a Stanley Cup ring as a member of the Hurricanes (2006).
He proved his detractors wrong by proving he was capable of handling the Sabres general manager job.
He was able to start a culture shift within and build the Sabres around players who actually want to be part of the team.
He was able to offload malcontents Hall, Ristolainen and Reinhart and get a decent haul in return, which brought optimism to long-suffering Sabres fans.
