Why Samoa might be annoying:

The country is vulnerable to devastating storms.
Currency are talas and sene.
Its monarch is called 'Chief.'
Despite having no TV stations, almost 3% have TV sets (hooray for Satellite TV!).
Eleven districts are A'ana, Aiga-i-le-Tai, Atua, Fa'asaleleaga, Gaga'emauga, Gagaifomauga, Palauli, Satupa'itea, Tuamasaga, Va'a-o-Fonoti and Vaisigano.
Its people enjoy eating baked bat.

Why Samoa might not be annoying:

It exports coconut cream, coconut oil and copra.
You can't find a cop because there aren't any. Nor are there bars on the jails.
'Lovely and lost and half the world away,' wrote Rupert Brooke.
Robert Louis Stevenson is buried there.
Dinner isn't complete without pisupo-corned beef, the second canned food to reach the island. The first was pea soup.
