Some of the people drink alcoholic beverages that contain horse's milk.

Why Mongolia might not be annoying:

It was once ruled by Genghis Khan.
The Mongolian Wild Horse (Przewalski) is the oldest known breed of horse.
Its people overthrew the Communist government and regained their freedom of religion (1996).
Men who don't like vodka are considered sissies.
