Why he might be annoying:

As host of 'On Safari,' he came up with the show's punning tagline, 'Safari, so goody.'
He said marriage should be reserved for heterosexual couples, but attended the 'I Do to Equal Marriage' event celebrating the legalization of same-sex marriage in England and Wales.
He was expelled from 'Celebrity Big Brother' for offensive remarks, such as telling a Jewish housemate, former X Factor star Katie Waissel, 'You better be careful, or they'll be putting you in a shower.'
In addition, he called bisexuals 'the worst type,' calling them 'people not wanting to admit they're gay.'
He also called AIDS a 'bisexual disease.'
Ironically, he had said his idea of a bad Big Brother housemate would be 'anyone with a big ego or bigoted.'

Why he might not be annoying:

He joined the Royal Shakespeare Company after graduating drama school: 'I had the best year of my life, working with Judi Dench, Elizabeth Spriggs.'
He was the first contestant on 'Celebrity Chase' to answer all six questions correctly.
'The Independent' called him 'the greatest pantomime actor we've got.'
He said, 'I've had a wonderful career and met wonderful people, and if you can say that, you can't complain too much.'
