She grins like Kristi Yamaguchi.
Before becoming a Harajuku, she admitted to not speaking a syllable of Japanese.
Gwen Stefani nicknamed her Angel (1) because she was from the City of Angels and (2) as a term for ‘someone who doesn’t get caught.’
As a fourth-generation nisei, or American of Japanese lineage, she is the only Harajuku not born in Japan.

Why she might not be annoying:

She began dancing at age three.
Upon graduating high school, she trained in hip hop with a San Diego troupe.
She loves Japanese cuisine.
She credits her fellow Girls with training her in the language.
