Almost half his film credits are film spin-offs from 'Battlestar Galactica.'
His 'Galactica' character is a chain of coffee shops.
He smokes cigars.
He prefers to live in Montana, his home state.

Why he might not be annoying:

He admitted in the 70s that he wasn't married because he couldn't find a woman that would put up with him smoking cigars.
He did eventually marry in 1986 and had two sons.
His characters have been harmless fun, mostly for kids.
