Also sang 'The Rock' 'Corey's Coming,' 'They Call Her Easy,' 'Flowers Are Red,' 'Caroline,' 'Shooting Star,' 'Halfway to Heaven,' 'She Sings a Song Without Words,' 'Mail Order Annie' and 'Dance Band on the Titanic'
Awarded posthumously the Congressional Medal of Freedom

Why he might be annoying:

He named all five of his children starting with the letter 'J' (Jaime, Jason, Jono, Jen & Josh).
He was told by his friends to be careful when he drove, he was not a very good driver.
During his car accident, which was brought on by a heart attack, he was decapitated.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was a strong supporter of ending world hunger.
Of his 200 concerts per year, more than half were for charitable causes.
While on his way to a benefit concert, he was involved in his fatal car accident (1981).
He convinced President Carter to set up a commission for exploring hunger in America.
He said: 'America stands for two things: aiding and abetting the quest of every human being for human rights, human dignity and human needs, and providing that individuals can make a difference.'
Twenty years after his death, his foundation is still benefiting World Hunger.
