    He first gained notice at age eight by impersonating Ethel Merman and Frank Sinatra on The Rosie O'Donnell Show.
    He starred in a series of commercials for Oscar Meyer Lunchables (2000).
    He said that because of his theatrical background, 'I have a tendency, even in my personal life, to be a little over the top and larger than life.'
    He called Los Angeles 'a necessary evil' for an acting career.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He began receiving chemotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia at age eight; he has been in remission since age eleven.
    His father threatened to pull him out of the Professional Performing Arts School after finding intimate emails between him and another boy. ('He thought the performing arts high school was turning me gay.')
    He came out as bisexual in Michael Musto's Village Voice column: 'I am attracted to girls, I'm just attracted to guys much more.'
    He was named one of OUT Magazine's 100 most influential LGBT+ people (2013).
