    Ted Morris Memorial Trophy winner (Vanier Cup MVP - 1987)

Why he might be annoying:

    He was overshadowed by both Gizmo Williams in Edmonton and Mike Pringle in Montreal.
    He was unable to continue the momentum of his breakthrough 1993 season.
    Some Canadian football pundits felt he never got a fair opportunity to establish himself as a superstar in the CFL, due to the team's preferences of non-imports in the starting running back roles.
    He had homesickness while playing in Edmonton, and requested a trade to Montreal, after the franchise was reinstated.
    He spent the majority of his career on Eskimo and Alouette teams that had good regular seasons, but choked in the playoffs.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He was a member of the McGill University football that won the Vanier Cup in an upset victory over UBC (1987).
    He won a Grey Cup with the Eskimos (1993).
    He was one of the first stars for the revived Alouettes franchise.
    He was able to play for his hometown Alouettes, where he finished his CFL career.
    He worked in the finance sector in the years following the end of his CFL career.
    He maintained a positive attitude, despite being diagnosed with ALS and suffering from various physical ailments.
    He was considered a local football legend in the Montreal area.
