A documentary of her over-the-top feud with zoo operator, Joe Exotic, became all the rage during the 2020 Covid 19 quarantine.
She posts 'Big Cat Briefings' videos on Facebook, greeting viewers with the phrase 'Hey all you cool cats and kittens.'
She might be better known for being 'That Bitch Carole Baskin' than she is for being an animal rights activist.
Joe Exotic accused her of being involved in the unsolved disappearance of her husband, Don Lewis.
Further, Exotic claimed she fed Lewis' body to her tigers to hide evidence of his murder.
Lewis had filed a restraining order against her, and, Lewis' first wife and daughters believe she was involved in his disappearance, as well.
She helped Lewis breed and sell tiger cubs years before she advocated against the private ownership of large cats as pets.
Growing up, she had a rough home life, leaving home at age 15.
Her first husband, whom she married at age 17, was physically abusive.
After years of back and forth torment with Joe Exotic, she was allegedly the target in a murder for hire plot.
She sued Joe Exotic, and was awarded $1 million in damages.
Some critics thought she shouldn't have been portrayed as the villain in 'Tiger King'.
She advocates against large cat breeds being kept as house pets.
She has a lifelong love of cats, and most of her wardrobe features cat print patterns.
