Why Solomon Islands might be annoying:

It people suffer from an outbreak of Malaria.
It was one of the bloodiest battlegrounds of WW II and has plenty of ships and planes buried nearby in the ocean.
Crime and rioting is common in the nation's capital.
On the Laulasi and Busu Islands, people believe that ancestors have been reincarnated into sharks, so they worship these creatures.
The people summons the sharks over to shallow areas (known as 'shark calling'); so that a small boy can ride an old shark.
If a man swims under a woman's canoe, a fine may be issued and the canoe might have to be destroyed.
They speak over 60 different languages.
The first missionaries to come to the Solomon Islands were killed by the natives.

Why Solomon Islands might not be annoying:

It is one of the best places for water adventurers.
They stopped hand-feeding the sharks (good idea)!
