The Resume

    (December 5, 1901-February 1, 1976)
    Born in Wurzburg, Germany
    Nuclear physicist
    Founder of quantum mechanics
Developed the uncertainty principle that the more accurately the position of a particle is measured, the more imprecise is the measurement of its velocity
Received the Nobel Prize in Physics (1932)

Why he might be annoying:

As a graduate student, he only received a C in physics due to his complete disinterest in experimental physics.
He said, 'Can nature possibly be so absurd as it seemed to us in these atomic experiments?'
Solipsists like to use the uncertainty principal to claim we can never really know anything.
He headed Nazi Germany's nuclear weapons program.

Why he might not be annoying:

    His theories revolutionized physics.
Early during the Nazi regime, he was attacked as a 'White Jew' for teaching Einstein's theories.
Several biographers suggest that he deliberately sabotaged the German atomic bomb project by overemphasizing the difficulties.
