Why they might be annoying:

They were Blood, Sweat and Tears sound-alikes.
    'Vehicle' is about a pedophile.
General Motors, apparently not having listened to any part of the song but the chorus, used 'Vehicle' for a national ad campaign.
Despite being one-hit wonders, they have released multiple 'greatest hits' albums.
On several of those albums, their one hit is a re-recording instead of the original version.

Why they might not be annoying:

'Vehicle' hit #2 on the Billboard charts.
'Vehicle' had a resurgence of popularity after being covered by Bo Bice on 'American Idol.'
Jim Peterik joined Survivor and wrote their hits 'Eye of the Tiger' and 'The Burning Heart.'
Peterik also wrote the 38 Special hits 'Hold on Loosely' and 'Wild Eyed Southern Boys.'
