Why he might be annoying:

He missed an 18 yard game winning field goal in overtime during the 2004 Western Final.
After the game, a deranged fan drove to his home in northwest Regina where he threw eggs and dumped manure on his front lawn.
He played for the XFL's Las Vegas Outlaws.
He was inconsistent as a punter.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was heavily involved with charitable causes in the Regina area.
Unlike Scott Norwood and Bill Buckner, he was forgiven by Rider fans for missing the field goal which could have sent the team to the Grey Cup championship game.
When he signed with the Lions, he wrote a letter to Rider fans telling them how much he appreciated them during his stay with the team.
