    Prior to the 2010-11 season, his record was only 1-3-1 in eight games over a four year stretch.
    He struggled with consistency issues early in his career.
    He made a profane filled speech at the Blackhawks Stanley Cup victory parade (2013).

    He proved to be a capable replacement for Antti Niemi, who was forced to leave the club due to salary cap constraints.
    He set the Hawks rookie franchise record for most consecutive victories by a rookie netminder.
    He backstopped the Hawks to the franchises second Stanley Cup title in four seasons.
    His style of play made him a fan favorite in Chicago.
