The Resume

    (May 16, 1984-circa August 15, 2011)
    Born in Coleman, Alberta, Canada
Forward for the Vancouver Canucks (2005-2011)

Why he might be annoying:

    He is extremely injury prone.
He was passed over in both the Western Hockey League and NHL Drafts, citing he was too small.
He is considered one of the NHL's dirtiest players.
He was involved in a skirmish with another player, which led to his ejection from a game after he proceeded to shove a linesman in the process (October 19, 2010).
He was suspended indefinitely after he attacked a Minnesota Wild fan on his way to the dressing room following the ejection from the game (October 19, 2010).

Why he might not be annoying:

He is a cousin of former Super Bowl MVP Mark Rypien.
He served as team captain during his stint with the WHL's Regina Pats.
Despite being told he was too undersized, he persevered and earned a roster spot with the Canucks following the lockout.
He comes from a family of athletic lineage as his cousin played in the NFL and his father was a Canadian Boxing Champion.
His raw style of play made him a fan favorite in both Regina and Vancouver.
