    Drafted 218th overall by the Philadelphia Flyers in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft
    Goaltender for the Pittsburgh Penguins (2001-03), Vancouver Canucks (2003-04), Dallas Stars (2005-06), Atlanta Thrashers (2006-10) and the New Jersey Devils (2010-13)

Why he might be annoying:

    His nickname is 'Moose.'
    Upon taking over the reins of the Penguins starting goalie, he refused to wear a goalie mask with the team colors for the remainder of the season.
    Despite starting his career with a 7-1-1 record, he went 39-56-11 as a starter in his two full seasons.
    He was relegated to backup duties following his trade to Vancouver.
    Prior to his NHL debut, he was a minor league journeyman in the minors.

Why he might not be annoying:

    He guided the Pens to the Eastern Conference Finals (2001).
    He recorded two assists in a game (2006).
    The baby blue Moose helmet he made popular in Pittsburgh was a result of his being called up to the Pens on short notice.
    He served as a backup to Tommy Salo at the 2002 Winter Olympics.
    He had a cult following in Pittsburgh.
