The Resume

    Born in Frankenmuth, Michigan
Recorded the songs 'Highway Tune', 'Safari Song', 'Black Smoke Rising' and 'When the Curtain Falls'
    Josh Kiszka - lead vocals
    Jake Kiszka - guitars
Sam Kiszka - bass and keyboards

Why they might be annoying:

Exactly who or what is a 'Greta Van Fleet' supposed to be? (They took their name from an elderly woman who lived in their hometown of Frankenmuth.)
They are often written off as a 'poor man's Led Zeppelin for a new generation'.
Partially due to their comparisons to Led Zeppelin, they are poorly received by critics.
The band's logo is suspiciously similar to the logo for the TV show 'Stranger Things' (although the band insist their logo came first).

Why they might not be annoying:

Robert Plant is a fan and doesn't mind the Led Zeppelin comparisons.
They are obviously influenced by classic rock and blues music from the 1960's-1970's era.
They are the rare popular hard-rock band in a music mainstream over-saturated by pop, hip-hop and country music.
They've won a number of awards and accolades, including the Grammy for Best Rock Album in 2019.
