Why he might be annoying:

He, along with Todd White and Vyacheslav Kozlov were called 'The Little White Russian Line.'
He struggled to stay healthy through most of his career.
He doesn't have any social media platforms, and doesn't like to divulge his personal information to the media.
He sustained a perforated eardrum, after he took a deflected slapshot to the head (November 2019).
He sat out the majority of two seasons as a result of the injury.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was the first player in the history of the Thrashers/Jets franchise to score a goal in his first NHL game.
He changed his number from #10 to #18 following the relocation to Winnipeg out of respect for Dale Hawerchuk, who wore it with the original Jets.
He was one of the last original members of the relocated Jets franchise at the time of his injury.
He played in 164 consecutive games for the Jets between 2017 and 2019.
He scored the game-winning goal in overtime for the Jets at the 2019 Heritage Classic in Regina, in what would be his last significant contribution of his career.
