He recorded a single with the ludicrously long title 'I've Got Those Wake Up Seven-Thirty, Wash Your Ears They're Dirty, Eat Your Eggs and Oatmeal Rush to School Blues.'
He said he wanted to stop recording novelty songs and move into country, but he turned down a chance to record Hank Williams' 'Jambalaya (On the Bayou).'
