Why they might be annoying:

Although they were considered a supergroup, their two guitarists were the only members anyone had heard of.
Hackett reportedly joined the band solely for financial reasons following disappointing sales of his solo records.
After a studio album and a tour, Hackett left, saying it had been 'interesting for about five minutes.'
Critic J.D. Considine's entire review of their album was 'Sht.'

Why they might not be annoying:

Their live performances featured acoustic showcases by Howe and Hackett.
At their first meeting, Hackett and Howe wrote the anthemic single 'When the Heart Rules the Mind.'
Despite Hackett's dissing of the band, 'When the Heart Rules the Mind' has been his only Top 40 hit.
