Why he might be annoying:

Some movie reviewers called his acting in 'About A Boy,' horrific and unbearable to watch (although he is just a kid).
He started his acting career when he was five years old.

Why he might not be annoying:

While filming a scene for a TV series, he was hit by a bus.
He had to be tied to a chair, 20 feet in the air and was accidentally hit by a double decker bus because the bus was supposed to stop a few inches away from him.
All of his siblings have a career in theater or movies.
He attended London's Sylvia Young Theatre School and learned most of his acting there.
Although his character in 'About A Boy' is geeky and doesn't have much friends, he says that he's nothing like that, just being a normal 12 year old boy.
He was nominated for a 2003 Young Artist Award for Best Performance in a Feature Film.
