Why he might be annoying:

    His career only became relevant after his son rose to prominence in the sports entertainment business.
    He dislikes his birth name of Edward Amos, electing to call himself Ted.
    He played in one game with the Bruins during the 1963-64 season and did not return to the NHL until four seasons later.
    He was nicknamed 'The Baby Faced Assassin' during his tenure in Los Angeles.
    He had an exuberant style of dancing for a goal scoring celebration, which was known as 'The Irvine Shuffle.'
    He retired after his second season in St. Louis, citing he didn't have the desire to play hockey after being traded from the Rangers.

    He was a member of two Central Hockey League championship teams (1965-66).
    He was a member of the inaugural Los Angeles Kings roster, after he was claimed in the 1967 NHL Expansion Draft.
    He was considered a solid two way player by hockey pundits.
    He was extremely respected by his teammates and was once voted as the recipient of the 'Players Player Award.'
    He takes great pride in his career and is extremely fond of his time playing with the Rangers.
