Why he might be annoying:

He smokes.
Dave Grohl felt Will was doing a bad job drumming, and re-recorded all of Will’s drum parts on the Foo Fighters' 1998 album. This led to Will quitting the band.
Although he was a member of the Foo Fighters for three years, he never drummed on any of the band's albums.
He reunited with Sunny Day Real Estate in 2000, but their album flopped and the band broke a second time.

Why he might not be annoying:

He played at every concert, despite having severe arm and wrist pains most of the time he was with the Foo Fighters.
He joined the Foo Fighters with his ex-band mate, Nate Mendel.
He has drummed for David Bowie.
Sunny Day Real Estate helped pave the way for emo bands, like My Chemical Romance.
