She is a hereditary aristocrat, the daughter of an English viscount.
She married her costar Tom Baker, the most famous 'Doctor Who' of them all.
They divorced after fourteen months.
Her career fizzled after 'Doctor Who.'

She was an accomplished stage actress.
She is a talented artist.
'Club International' magazine published raunchy nude pictures of another actress and claimed it was her.
She successfully sued the magazine for libel.
In addition to marrying Tom Baker, she also dated 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' author Douglas Adams (a sci-fi double whammy if there ever was one).
Patrick Stewart once criticized her for doing science fiction, then went on to do years of 'Star Trek' himself.
