Why he might be annoying:

He wants to decide what people can and can not watch on television.
He often targets shows that he feels are offensive by getting people to write letters to their sponsors.
The shows he targets usually get low ratings and when they are cancelled, he takes credit for their cancellation.
He exaggerates the actual number of members in the PTC.
He targeted World Wrestling Entertainment, claiming that he convinced numerous companies to stop airing commercials on their programs when most of them never even sponsored them in the first place.
He came off looking stupid during an impromptu debate against The Rock on CNN during the 2000 Republican National Convention.
His father was a speech writer for Senator Joseph McCarthy.
He used to work for Rev. Sun Myung Moon.
He just looks evil.

Why he might not be annoying:

He was sued by the WWE and forced to retract the statements he made against them.
He promotes family values.
Most people don't take him seriously.
