He gets angry with litigants if they are not fully prepared and especially if they don't have the proper evidence.

He was the first high profile TV Judge, which started a wave of copycats ten years later.
He once tried a TV case between David Letterman and Johnny Carson.
He says the value of 'The People's Court' is that people learned something about the law, but even more importantly the way to present their case.
