Why PGA Tour might be annoying:

In the past, minorities were not allowed to play on some PGA Tour Courses.
Courses are at the point where only the longest of hitters can contend.
For years they did not consider the British Open one of the four major championships on the PGA Tour.
Casey Martin, a disabled golfer, was denied access to a cart during PGA Tour events.
They give unlimited exemptions to past-their-prime players like Arnold Palmer, but up and coming stars must qualify.
Although on the schedule, they do not run any of golf's four major championships.

Why PGA Tour might not be annoying:

The PGA Tour donates and raises several million dollars for charity.
3 women in a 12 month period have played on the PGA Tour.
Players from all over the world play on the PGA Tour.
It has since grandfathered and counted all British Open victories as PGA Tour victories.
You only gain money by winning. The better player you are, the more you make.
Purses have jumped from $10,000 in 1926 to $7 million in 2004.
Some winners' checks are over $1 million.
