Artist
    (March 10, 1967- )
Creator of popular comic book characters, X-Force, Deadpool, and Cable (1989-1992)
    Co-founder of Image Comics (1992)
Featured in commercials for Levis Jeans
His art is dynamic, although very poorly drawn, with characters being drawn with disproportionate body parts, similar poses, and indistinct facial expressions.
He creates new comic book series without finishing the storylines of old ones.
He resigned from Image Comics, the company he helped co-found, right before being fired for allegedly misappropriating funds, among other things.
He has a bad reputation in the comic book industry and made many enemies in the creative community.
He has been sued by Marvel Comics because of the similarities between his books and ones published by Marvel.
Many of his comic book character creations are named after pre-existing properties, including 'Bedrock' (the fictional city in 'The Flintstones'), 'Vogue' (women's fashion magazine), 'Deadpool' (a film featuring Dirty Harry), 'Die Hard' (Bruce Willis film trilogy), and 'Riptide' (80's prime-time television show).
His comic books consistently shipped much later than scheduled, causing comic book specialty shops to lose money on product that never arrived.
'X-Force' #1 held the record for the best selling comic book of all time.
He created the best selling independent comic book, 'Youngblood' #1.
Although his artwork is highly criticized, it became the most influential art style of the 1990s.
Has had several of his comic book properties optioned by movie studios.
Despite the level of negative criticism, he still has a legion of diehard fans.
