He had a good reason to drop out of school, as he dropped out to join Kings of Leon.
He was able to become a talented rock lead guitarist despite being allowed to listen to nothing but church music growing up.
In addition to guitar, he also plays piano, as shown on KoL's 'Talihina Sky.'
His girlfriend, Johanna Bennett, is also a musician and co-wrote the hit 'Fluorescent Adolescent' with the Arctic Monkeys.
