Recorded the #1 pop hit ‘Let Your Love Flow' (1976) and #1 country hits ‘If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)' (1979), ‘Sugar Daddy' (1980), ‘Dancing Cowboys' (1980), ‘Do You Love As Good As You Look' (1981), ‘For All the Wrong Reasons' (1982), ‘Redneck Girl' (1982), ‘When I'm Away From You' (1983), ‘I Need More of You' (1985), ‘Too Much Is Not Enough' (with the Forester Sisters, 1986) and ‘Kids of the Baby Boom' (1987)

Why they might be annoying:

After the success of ‘Let Your Love Flow' they ended up in debt due to mismanagement.
Even given country music's fondness for bad jokes, ‘If I Said You Had a Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)' is a groan-inducing title.
On the cover of the ‘Strong Weakness' album, they posed in a hot tub with bikini-clad women (1980).

Why they might not be annoying:

They grew up on a farm without a telephone or television.
Their song ‘You're My Favorite Star' became the first top 10 country hit to use Jamaican reggae rhythms (1981).
They footed the cost of bringing the Forester Sisters to the studio for ‘Too Much Is Never Enough' when their record label balked at paying.
